Beautiful, Modern Accom. in Lovely Pastoral Surroundings: review by Christi B
We spent a week in this lovely holiday home. This cottage has all the modern conveniences you need, yet it is in a pastoral setting of green hills dotted with sheep. As you enter you find the laundry room with a lovely washer and dryer, and you then enter the beautiful kitchen. This is a large space and has all that you would need for eating in at the cottage.
As you walk down the hall the first bedroom is there just down from the kitchen with its own en suite toilet room equipped with a shower and a lovely tub. On further, you find the den area, and just off the den is a lovely pool/activity room with double french doors leading to an outdoor patio. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own en suite toilet room. The beds were very comfortable and having en suite toilets was wonderful.
The added bonus of WIFI access was a real plus for us, as I work in web design and needed to contact clients even while on holiday. Be aware that the WIFI does not reach to the downstairs bedroom or kitchen, as the access point is in the pool room. It does reach to the upstairs bedrooms, though.
All in all, it was a lovely week in a lovely cottage, very comfortable accommodations, and beautifully pastoral surroundings.

One of the best cottages we've ever stayed in: review by viviennes
My friends and I have rented many cottages over the years and can safely say that Sunnyside Cottage shares first place with only one other. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother.
The house itself was beautiful, in a lovely setting on a beautiful sheep farm just a few minutes drive from the village of Crossgar, and perfectly equipped. Our hostess had thoughtfully provided every supply we could possibly need, including a cupboard full of towels, endless toilet paper, full boxes of dishwasher tablets and washer detergents, etc. Most houses provide only starter amounts of these things. As well, we were welcomed with fresh milk, bread, butter, biscuits, coffee, cereal, etc., all of which was very much appreciated.
All of the lovely bedrooms were en suite, and there was an extra powder room and, of course, the billiard and darts room. The house was perfectly clean and tidy and obviously very well maintained, so much so that it could have been brand new in all respects. Internet access and lots of TV channels were great. We would love to return, and we highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Assistance:
The cottage can be seen straight ahead, dead centre, as you look. You will note that the cottage is in its construction phase. Click on the icon in the top right corner to view in full screen. (Escape will allow you to exit full screen mode). Hold the left button on your mouse and drag to view from different angles. To move along the road either click the arrows on the road or choose a spot further along the road and left click your mouse once to advance! (If you don't move your mouse far enough away you will see a magnifying glass in your circle, move a bit further and it disappears. Click and advance! If you find yourself activating the magnifying glass simply right click and zoom out.)
You will have noticed a small window to the bottom right with a little yellow man in the centre. What you are seeing in the main window is the view through his eyes. This window can be enlarged by clicking the arrow in the top left corner. Use the '+' and '-' to zoom in/out. You can also drag the yellow man to e.g. the nearest town and have a quick tour before you arrive! Of course the blue icon represents the location of the cottage.
Have fun and we hope you enjoy your holiday ...
