Pamela, loved your house. Back at work tomorrow and will be asking for annual leave in early September. If all is well and you're not booked I will be back. Thanks again Janice, Glasgow Stayed 06/07/13 - 16/07/13

Great week in Northern Ireland! Beautiful countryside even in this terrible weather! Lots of great pubs to warm up in as well as cozy Samphreda Holiday cottage! Thanks Pam & Martin. Shane, New York, USA Stayed 20/03/13

We said we'd be back and here we are! We are glad to be back, to this lovely cottage and this stunning part of the world! Seeing parts of Ireland in the winter was amazing and well worth the colder climate (just pack a scarf, gloves, and a good coat). I really managed well around the cottage with my walking sticks and my wheelchair! Independence is a big thing to me. Oh! and the welcome pack and well stocked kitchen was a great surprise and made our first night much easier! I don't want to leave but I know we'll be back. x Pete Pembridge, Herefordshire Stayed 25/11/12 - 02/12/12

We had a few enjoyable days here at Samphreda. The house is very well equipped and in a great location. Caroline and Pam were an absolute pleasure to deal with too! Thank you ladies. Fran, Kent Stayed 07/07/12

A fantastic weekend which surpassed my expectations. The cottage and surrounding countryside are beautiful. A trip to the Silent Valley is a must (don't forget your camera!) I have stayed in many holiday cottages and this is by far the most peaceful and the information book, the best I have ever seen. Thank you Martin & Pam. Donna, Welshpool Stayed 25/06/12

Our first time in Northern Ireland and we could not have picked a better cottage. It was perfect for my disabled husband as everything is on the level once you get in the little step at the back door. It was perfect for our second honeymoon and when we got there Pam and Martin had got us a lovely bottle of wine and a card, a lovely touch and a perfect start to our holiday. Samphreda has all the stunning charm of a traditional Irish cottage with everything thing modern life has to offer. The gardens are lovely and well kept, there is a lovely decking area and barbecue, the sun shone and we spent many evenings sat there. The cottage is in a perfect location the Mourne Mountains can be seen from the back garden and the sea is within five minutes from the cottage, we can recommend Tollymore park forest and for a lovely meal pop along go to the Golf Links restaurant in Newcastle. Annemarie & Pete. Stayed 17/06/12

Perfect place to relax & unwind: review by paulineee

We had a wonderful trip to Northern Ireland. The cottage is beautiful and is the perfect place to relax & unwind.

It has been newly decorated & everything is new.
The beds are really comfortable and the owners have thought of everything - even a picnic hamper to use on the lovely walks in the surrounding countryside.

The rural location means that a car is necessary and there are some lovely beaches nearby as well as a couple of beautiful forest parks.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you Samphreda - we'll be back!

The holiday home can be seen straight ahead as you look. Click on the icon in the top right corner to view in full screen. (Escape will allow you to exit full screen mode). Hold the left button on your mouse and drag to view from different angles. To move along the road either click the arrows on the road or choose a spot further along the road and left click your mouse once to advance! (If you don't move your mouse far enough away you will see a magnifying glass in your circle, move a bit further and it disappears. Click and advance! If you find yourself activating the magnifying glass simply right click and zoom out.)

You will have noticed a small window to the bottom right with a little yellow man in the centre. What you are seeing in the main window is the view through his eyes. This window can be enlarged by clicking the arrow in the top left corner. Use the '+' and '-' to zoom in/out. You can also drag the yellow man to e.g. the nearest town and have a quick tour before you arrive! Of course the blue icon represents the location of Samphreda.

Have fun and we hope you enjoy your holiday ...
